The 6 Sky Entertainment Packs are Variety, News and Events, Style and Culture, Knowledge, Music and Childrens Pack. Just click on the picture for more information on the Sky website.

Variety Pack - Over 20 TV channels of all-round family entertainment, including Sky1, Bravo and Paramount Comedy. New and classic drama and comedy series from the UK and US plus the best sci-fi, reality and game shows, travel features, and special-interest programmes for men and women.

News and Events Pack - Over 11 channels of up-to-the-minute world, sport and business news. Featured channels include Fox News, Star News and Motors TV (Sky News is available without subscribing) and sport news channels include At The Races, British Eurosport and Extreme Sports.

Style and Culture Pack - Over 21 channels devoted to who we are and what we do including Discovery Real Time, UKTV and Style TV. Entertainment covering the latest trends and subcultures, the arts, health and relationship issues, food, home improvements, and European and Asian perspectives on life.

Knowledge Pack - Over 11 channels of daring documentaries, like National Geographic, the Discovery Channel and Animal Planet. Sit back and enjoy nature's hidden marvels, astonishing tales of human endeavour, prehistoric monsters and cutting-edge science.

Music Pack - All the music you love – whether it's pop and rock or urban and dance. Over 15 music TV channels including MTV and Kerrang, featuring video chart shows, live performances, interviews with the artists, expert-selected playlists and superstar biographies. Essential music viewing.

Childrens Pack - Sky Childrens Pack is intended to keep kids safely entertained and educated whatever their age. More than 12 age-specific children's TV channels including Disney Channel, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, some with interactive options, all featuring Sky parental controls.
When it comes to Sky boxes you have 2 choices - the Sky+HD Box and the standard Sky Box, the Sky+ Box having recently been phased out. The standard box is now only available as part of the Multiroom option however, so almost all new customers will get a Sky+HD Box and then choose whether or not to take the HD package for £9.99 a month. Not yet advertised but in the pipeline is the Sky+HD 1 Terabyte Box, for those who want to store large amounts of video. Here is the basic rundown...
