Virgin TV M+

Virgin Media offers digital TV, broadband and phone, either individually or in bundles, and the TV packages come in 3 sizes – M+, L and XL. The sizes tell you how many channels are included and the numbers are made up of free-to-air channels such as BBC4 and any subscription channels which come with the package.

Channels in TV M+

The 75 channels include lifestyle channels like Sky 1, Sky Living and the Universal Channel, sport such as Eurosport, At The Races and Sky Sports News, documentary content including Yesterday and Discovery and movies from Film4 and Movies 24.

The M+ TV package can be taken with a choice of 3 different boxes – the V HD box, which is the basic model with no pausing and rewinding but HD and 3D capable, this costs £6.50 a month. The 500GB TiVo box gives you recording space for around 250 hours of standard TV plus all of the great features of Virgin TiVo, such as searching by keyword, Wishlists to ask the box to record for you anything relating to actor, director or title keywords and easy access to catch-up shows. This costs £9.50 a month and the set-up is currently free. You can also opt for the 1 Terabyte TiVo box which has double the memory space – this costs the same monthly fee but will incur a £49.95 activation fee. These prices depend on you taking a Virgin phone line rental for £13.90 a month – the monthly price for M+ TV on its own with no phone is £12.50.
