Their first package, Broadband L has download speeds of up to 10MB and upload speeds of up to 500KB. This means that you can download a song in a matter of minutes and a film within the hour. The upload speed is capable of uploading a photo to the internet within seconds and an MP3 song within a minute. With this package you’ll receive a free top of the class modem, a free wireless router, free internet security so you’ll be safe from harm online, free email, free photo print-outs and no monthly usage limits so your free to download as much as you want! All this for £13.50 a month as long as you have a Virgin Phone line for £12.99 a month. You can also get this broadband package on its own for £21 a month.

The second package they have to offer is the Broadband XL. This package is for a more habitual internet user as it comes with a blazing fast download speed of 30MB and upload speeds of up to 500KB (on 1st Feb 2011 XL was increased from 20MB to 30MB). The download speed is capable of downloading a song within a few seconds and downloading a movie in less than 30 minutes! With this you’ll also get a free modem, a free wireless router so you can share your connection around the home without any messy cables, free online storage of up to 20GB, free photo print-outs, free Internet security so you’ll be safe online, free email and 24 hours support! All this for £18.50 a month when you take a Virgin Phone line for £12.99 a month. You can also get the broadband on its own for £28.50 a month.

Finally, Virgin Media’s flagship package and by far the fastest internet connection the UK has to offer, Virgin Broadband XXL with download speeds of up to 50MB and upload speeds of up to 1.5MB! With this download speed you can download a music track in 1 second and a 15 GB HD movie in less than an hour! This is good for a very heavy internet user and with HD television coming to our computers; this will be the perfect solution for HD video streaming. Its upload speed is capable of uploading an MP3 track within a minute so if you’re sharing files with friends and family this will make your life so much easier. This also comes with all the free items, which come with the previous two packages including the free modem and free wireless router – £25 a month with a phone line or £35 standalone.
